About the job
This is a temporary role based out of our Bonnyville office until August 2021.
Responsibilities:
Maintain good professional relationships with clients, community members and agency partners for all internal and external activities and provide accurate information on all process and schedule appointments for agency.
Provide clerical support by answering telephones, scheduling appointments, greeting clients, and providing follow-up as required.
Maintain agency spreadsheets and databases and prepares statistical reports as required.
Develop various correspondences and memos and maintain confidentiality of all client and agency information.
Provide general office support.
Participate in outreach educational and awareness agency initiatives as assigned by the Supervisor / Management Team.
Assist with special projects and other duties as assigned by the Supervisor / Management Team.
Requirements
Qualifications:
Currently enrolled or has completed Post-secondary related degree and/or diploma (equivalencies may be considered).
Knowledge of community resources and familiarity with Indigenous community resources considered an asset.
Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
Working knowledge of computer software (email, internet), Microsoft Office applications (Word, Outlook), and electronic records management system.
Excellent interpersonal, communication and leadership skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Must be detail oriented and well organized.
Professionalism and ability to maintain confidentiality.
An understanding of women’s issues, social justice advocacy, diversity and anti-oppressive practice are an asset.
Clear Criminal Records check and Child Intervention Record check.
